Born and raised in Berlin, actress Johanna Link initially devoted herself to music after graduating from high school: as a drummer in a band, at the school orchestra meeting of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and in her studies of musicology at Berlin's Humboldt University. She found her way into theatre in 2011 with her acting training at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre and has since performed in numerous productions; since 2019, she has been working as a freelance actress and is a regular guest on theatre and opera stages, mainly in Berlin and Hamburg. Currently, she is at the Volksbühne Berlin in »Die Chor«.
