Soprano Dorothee Mields is one of the leading singers of 17th and 18th century music. Audiences and press love especially her moving interpretations.

She performs regularly with Collegium Vocale Gent, the Nederlandse Bachvereniging, the Freiburger Barockorchester, Bachakademie Stuttgart, L'Orfeo Barockorchester, Orchestra of the 18th Century, Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra Toronto and the Boston Early Music Festival Orchestra. She regularly collaborates with conductors such as Michi Gaigg, Philippe Herreweghe, Stephan Macleod, Dorothee Oberlinger, Hans-Christoph Rademann, Shunske Sato and Andreas Spering. Chamber music projects with Stefan Temmingh, Tobias Koch, Lucius Rühl and the G.A.P Ensemble are another focus of her artistic work. Her recording »Basevi Codex« with the Boreas Quartet was awarded the ICMA Award 2022.
