Digital Event Tips

Digital Stage and Arte Concert

We would like to recommend two events that you can enjoy digitally: The »St. John Passion« in a production of Podium Esslingen and the video clips of the »Dying Swans Project«. [This text has been translated electronically.]

In addition to interviews, concert recordings of the 2020 season and other digital projects, the virtual curtain of our Digital Stage will rise – especially from the start of May. There you will find audio and video contributions, which we would like to recommend to you. For example, thanks to the Arte Concert recording, you will be able to enjoy the »St. John Passion« in the version of the Podium Esslingen that actually would have taken place as a prelude to our 2020 season. After the cancellation due to corona, a recorded performance took place in the Thomaskirche in Leipzig on Good Friday 2020, so that you can enjoy the emotive interpretation by Benedikt Kristjánsson, Elina Albach and Philipp Lamprecht here until 25 April 2021. It is planned that this production will return to Ludwigsburg in 2022.

The special »Dying Swans Project« is now online. The 16 clips with 16 dancers from Gauthier Dance and 16 different choreographers appeared on 16 April on various channels on YouTube, Instagram and finally here on our Digital Stage. At the Ludwigsburg Schlossfestspiele 2021, this project will celebrate its hybrid premiere as the "Dying Swans Experience".

Feel free to take a look around on our Digital Stage!
