Isaac Newton investigated gravity from the same impulse that drove Albert Einstein to work on the theory of relativity or Charles Darwin in his research into nature: Great discoveries are always linked to the human quest to understand the world more precisely. But the fact that a holistic view of the world and our lives depends not only on the natural sciences but also on the interhuman, the superhuman and the inner human is shown by the soprano Marlis Petersen. »Dimensionen des Menschseins« is the subtitle of her four-part work, in which she explores, together with pianist Stephan Matthias Lademann, the position of the human in the world from various perspectives. Her faithful companions are atmospheric songs from which she admires the evening sun, climbs mountains, fears storms, talks about ponders life, and invites everyone to become world explorers together.
