Diana Tishchenko

Violinist

Selected as a »Rising Star« by the European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO), Diana Tishchenko can be heard on numerous European stages in the 2022/23 season. The Ukrainian violinist studied in Kyiv and Berlin and quickly won over the juries at the ARD Music Competition and the Long-Thibaud-Crespin Competition, for example. In the meantime, Tishchenko counts conductors such as François-Xavier Roth, Joshua Weilerstein, and Pierre Bleuse as well as chamber music greats such as Gidon Kremer, Steven Isserlis, and Albrecht Mayer among her previous partners. She recently made her debut with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, the Munich Chamber Orchestra, and the Wiener Symphoniker, among others. This season she appears at the Rheingau Musik Festival, and the Heidelberger Frühling and debuts at the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival as well as the Ludwigsburg Festival. Since 2022 Diana Tishchenko has been the artistic director of the chamber music series »Resonanzen« at the Stadtmuseum Siegburg.
