Just under a year later, you can once again enjoy two concerts from 2021. The concert of the Oberon Trio will be broadcast on Deutschlandfunk and the one with Barbara Hannigan on ARTE Concert. On 20 June 2021, in the Ordenssaal of the Ludwigsburg Residenzschloss, the young chamber ensemble performed Clara Schumann's Trio in G minor, op. 17 and Franz Schubert's Trio in E flat major, D 929, as well as a world premiere by the contemporary composer Julia Purgina: »Noir IV«. As »Concert Document of the Week«, the concert will be broadcast in the series of the same name on 19 June at 9:05 pm on Deutschlandfunk. The programme can already be heard online. In »Chiaroscuro«, conductor Barbara Hannigan devoted herself to the light and the dark side of music as the highlight of her one-week Schlossfestspiel residency on 4 July 2021. The contrasting concert with works by Igor Stravinsky, Joseph Haydn, George Gershwin, Charles Ives, Arnold Schönberg and Claude Vivier will be shown on ARTE Concert on 20 June at 00:40.
