She and all the other courageous people who have been peacefully taking to the streets for democratic structures in Belarus for the past year have become a symbol for Belarusian society. The series »Echoes - Voices from Belarus« gives them a voice. Already in spring 2021, the ECLAT Festival offered 17 Belarusian artists a podium in cooperation with European musicians on its digital channels. From these descriptions of the state of affairs, artists will now unfold a differentiated picture of the suffering and resistant, self-discovering Belarusian society in the autumn. On October 3rd, these artists, together with a choir, will present a performance that is as touching as it is shocking, which can be experienced as an installation during the remaining days of the exhibition. The performances on 3 October will take place at 12:00, 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30.
