Unfortunately Tabea Zimmermann’s pianist Javier Perianes had to cancel his participation in the original concert »Zimmermann Perianes Cantilena« at short notice due to illness. For this reason, Tabea Zimmermann, winner of the Ernst-von-Siemens-Music-Prize 2020, has decided to perform a special solo program instead on Thursday, 8 July at 6 pm and 9 pm in the Ordenssaal of the Residenzschloss: Bach’s Suites No. 2 in D minor, BWV 1008 and no. 4 in E-flat major, BWV 1010, Hindemith’s Sonata op. 25/1 as well as a juxtaposition of movements from Ligeti’s »Sonata for Solo Viola« composed for Tabea Zimmermann and Kurtág’s »Signs, Games and Messages«. The concert with the new title »Tabea Zimmermann Solo« at 6 pm is already sold out. Remaining tickets for 9 pm are still available from 35 Euro.
