The coloratura soprano Julie Roset began her musical training at a young age as a children's chorister at the Avignon Opera. At 18, she won several prizes at the Avignon Opera's Young Talent Competition. Today, Roset performs mainly on French opera and festival stages, in roles such as Papagena from Mozart's »The Magic Flute« or Aurora from Francesco Sacrati's »La Finta Pazza«. The close collaboration with Cappella Mediterranea has resulted in several CD recordings and joint projects such as Monteverdi's »Incoronazione di Poppea« and Falvetti's »Il diluvio universale«, which will be performed in 2022.
